Safe Packaging: At ACL Taxidermy, we strive to ensure that all items are packaged securely to prevent damage during shipping. However, we do not take responsibility for any damage that may occur after the package leaves our facility. It is the customer's responsibility to file any necessary claims with the shipping carrier in the event of damage. We document photos of packed crates before they leave our shop.

Hide and Skull preparation for shipment to another taxidermist or residence : Salt preserving hides is a crucial step in the preparation and shipment of animal skins. Properly preserving hides not only helps prevent decomposition but also ensures they remain in good condition for taxidermy or other uses. Once a hide has been properly salt cured it can be stored for an extended amount of time and is ready for the tannery. Remember to inform your taxidermist that you have already had the work completed here, so that you are not charged for the same services again when your item arrives at their shop.
